 NEXT WEATHER MAKER:

The next weather maker will arrive Friday afternoon with a slower upper level Low that will take several days to pass through the state. This means there is a chance for rain Friday through Sunday. That might sound wonderful, however, this pattern change will bring possible new fire starts to SW Montana as several rounds of thunderstorms are likely producing frequent lightning and erratic winds. Some storms could produce brief heavy rain and others very little rainfall.
