NORTH PLATTE, NE (KPTM) — Nebraska State Troopers say they found several drugs and arrested five people during traffic stops on the interstate over the weekend.
They say on Saturday, Oct. 6 troopers pulled over a car who they say didn’t move over for an emergency vehicle.
They say during the stop they smelled marijuana and searched the car.
Troopers say they found around 5,000 TCH hash oil vape cartridges and one ounce of what they believe is khat.
The driver and passenger were arrested and taken to the Lincoln County Jail.
Troopers say on Sunday, Oct. 7, they searched a car on Interstate 80 after they say the driver started acting suspicious.
They say during the search they found 26 pounds of marijuana in suitcases.
oth men in the car were arrested and taken to Kimball County Jail.
On Monday, Oct. 8, troopers say they stopped a car for speeding on the interstate.
Troopers say the driver started acting suspiciously and they searched the car.
They say they found 55 packages of marijuana.
The driver was taken to the Lincoln County Jail.
