Hillary Clinton has her own thoughts on which TV show most accurately reflects a life in politics.
“Madam secretary, may I ask you — this is a question I get a lot because I lived a life in politics, nothing like yours — which is closer to reality of life in politics, which TV show? ‘The West Wing’ or ‘Veep’?” moderator Paul Begala asked at an event at the Beacon Theater in New York on Thursday night.
“Oh, probably ‘Game of Thrones,’ ” Clinton responded, drawing laughter from the audience. “At least in my experience.”
Former President Bill Clinton, who was at the event, said his choice for most realistic is “Madam Secretary.”
The smash HBO series begins its eighth and final season on Sunday.
