Blanche Bishop
April 8, 1936 - December 24, 2020

Blanche Bishop, age 84, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at her home in Bozeman, Montana with family by her side.

Blanche had an adventurous and mischievous spirit. She was happiest dancing hand-in-hand with those she loved or exploring new places. She will be missed dearly by her sons and daughters, extended family, and friends.

Blanche grew up on a farm in Mapleton, Maine. She was preceded in death by her parents, John S. Bishop and Zelma Griffin, as well as her brothers, Donald Bishop and Franklin Bishop. She attended Bryant College in Providence, Rhode Island, graduating in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She went on to marry Donald R. Kundert a few years later and they had four children together (Kirt Kundert – Junction, Texas; Kevin Kundert – Belgrade, Montana; Kim (Kundert) Spain – Bozeman, Montana; and Kathleen (Kundert) Hatwell – Melbourne, Australia). All of her children survive and have children of their own. Blanche had many beloved grandchildren (12) and great-grandchildren (12).

After her marriage to Donald ended, she met and married Jack Mosher of Dallas, Texas. In her early career, she worked professionally as an executive secretary and court reporter and, after moving to Big Sky, managed properties with Jack. Blanche was preceded in death by her second husband who died in 2004. Her ashes will be spread with Jack’s at one of their favorite locations as per her wishes.

A private family memorial is planned for a later date. If you want to do something in Blanche’s memory, have fun, raise a glass in her honor, do a dance, take a risk — that’s what Blanche would want!
