Cool weather pattern Tuesday as an upper level Low digs into the Pacific NW and Northern Rockies keeping temperatures well below normal. Increasing moisture is developing with this upper level Low so look for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening. Higher elevation snow is possible as well mostly above 8,000′ Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Forecast models show most of the showers ending around sunset but remaining very chilly Tuesday night. For the fireworks show in Butte Tuesday evening grab a light jacket if you are watching the big show starting around 10:30 pm Tuesday night. BUTTE FIREWORKS FORECAST

Wednesday’s Butte 4th of July parade looks dry. However, morning lows Wednesday for Butte will be very chilly starting the day off in the upper 30s. By 10 am temperatures should warm up into the mid 50s with mostly sunny skies and cool winds around 15 MPH from the ESE. Late afternoon look for continued sunny skies with temperatures warming into the mid 70s.

The forecast looks fantastic for Bozeman’s Fireworks show Wednesday evening. Temperatures will be cool but the weather pattern is dry with light winds. Grab a light jacket or sweater if you are heading down the fairgrounds to watch the big show Wednesday evening.
