BOZEMAN – The Bozeman Health Foundation has received a two-year, $150,000 grant from the Montana Healthcare Foundation.

This grant will help individuals struggling with mental illness or substance abuse disorders.

Mental health is the number one health challenge facing Gallatin County and this will provide extra assistance and create more resources at Bozeman Health.

"It gives us the ability to provide two things for our patients. One is access to care that really is involved already in their medical care, but we can also give them behavioral health care. It will give them the services that they need so we’ll be able to do screenings and counselings and interventions,” Chief Nursing Officer Vickie Groeneweg said.

The Bozeman Health Foundation is excited about this grant and the help it will bring to Gallatin County.
