BOZEMAN – As of Wednesday, Bozeman Fiber is now able to offer a free upgrade of its broadband connection with gigabit service.
Bozeman becomes an elite city with it now having this service. It gives businesses the chance to prosper and compete across the world.
“You’re going from 60- or 40,000 bits per second to a million bits per second. The only way I can describe it to you is you used to sit and watch the little thing spin, and now you blink and it’s there,” said Bozeman Fiber CEO Greg Metzger.
Currently this service is only offered to businesses in town, but Bozeman Fiber could potentially be offered to residential communities in the future.
