Mark your calendars for the annual Gallatin Gateway School Foundation’s Sportsman’s Banquet Dinner and Auction coming up Saturday, April 13th. The Sportsman’s Banquet is a fundraiser for middle school kids at Gallatin Gateway to raise funds for their trip to Washington DC coming up this spring as well as the 6th-grade Expedition Yellowstone.
Entry to the event is free and will include a catered dinner included with a donation. There will also be a live and silent auction and includes a variety of prizes and auction items. The event takes place at The Auction Barn located at 25 Wheeler Mountain Way in Gallatin Gateway. Doors open at 5 PM with dinner at 6 PM and the auction to follow at 7 PM.
Items include fishing equipment, guided fishing trips, clothing, jewelry, spa and salon packages, pet supplies to name a few. The Washington DC trip will allow 8th graders to have the opportunity to meet with Montana’s Senators Steve Daines and Jon Tester, tour museums and monuments, and learn about the history of the United States.
