BOZEMAN — A Bozeman man will now be on probation for half a year after a case that started with him being accused of raping two women.

According to court documents, Adam Carp pleaded guilty to criminal endangerment back in November, along with a misdemeanor for stealing a road sign.

But court documents show that his initial charges from May, which included assault with a weapon, two counts of rape and two counts of tampering with witnesses, were amended down when detectives say victim statements made later did not line up.

Carp also will request to move to another state to serve his sentence, which was six years of probation.

The court ordered Carp to not have any contact with the victims and must pay $200 for the sign.
