The Governor's Office did not release further details about the two new cases, but said "DPHHS and the local county health departments are immediately following up to learn more details about the two individual’s exposure risk, travel history, and to identify and communicate with anyone who may have been in close contact with the patients."

This brings the total number of cases in Montana to 12, according to the release.

The Governor's Office said the case announced Wednesday morning of a Gallatin County man in his 20s will be classified as a New Hampshire case after it was determined the patient is a resident there.
