POLSON — A 19th COVID-19 related death is being reported in the Mission Valley.
Lake County Public Health reports the case was a male in his 70's. No further information is being released.
"We are deeply saddened to announce that a nineteenth Lake County resident has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection. The health department sends our deepest condolences to their family, friends and loved ones," health officials stated in a social media post.
There are currently 87 active COVID-19 cases being reported. To date, a total of 1,747 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Lake County including 1,642 recoveries and 19 deaths.
