Woman arrested after fleeing police, crashing vehicle in downtown Bozeman

BOZEMAN, Mont. – A 19-year-old woman was arrested Saturday night after fleeing police and crashing into another vehicle in downtown Bozeman.

Bozeman police say officers responded to a 911 call around 11 p.m. Saturday, reporting disorderly conduct and shots fired.

Officers reportedly stopped a silver passenger vehicle at 7th and Durston. The woman driver fled the stop and led officers on a pursuit that ended when she ran a red light at 11th and Main, crashing into another vehicle.

The Bozeman Fire Department also responded and posted a notice on its Facebook page to help divert traffic from the area:

Motor vehicle accident near 11th and Main in Bozeman. Please use alternate routes as available. Fire/EMS and police on scene.

4 people were injured and taken to Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital as a result of the crash, police say. No further information about their condition is known at this time.

The woman is currently in custody at the Gallatin County Detention Center. She is scheduled to appear in Justice Court on Monday.
