BOZEMAN, Mont. – Bozeman Police have released the name of the man and woman who died in a homicide/suicide incident on Wednesday in Bozeman.

According to officials, Sean Raidley, 31, and Carissa Perkins, 29, were both dead from gunshot wounds when they were located in a residence in the 800 block of Longbow Lane.

Investigators said it appears at this time that Raidley utilized a handgun to shoot Perkins and then himself.

There was no one else in the residence at the time and it is unclear at this point exactly when or why the incident occurred, officials stated.

The pair appeared to be in a dating relationship, but there was no indication or history of any prior violence.

Raidley, from Pennsylvania, and Perkins, from Florida, had moved to Bozeman together within the past few months.

The incident remains under investigation by the Bozeman Police Department with help from the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office and the MSU/Bozeman Police Department Special Victims Unit.
