Montana man charged with criminal vehicular homicide in North Dakota

WILLIAMS COUNTY, N.D. – A Helena man is being held on $1 million bond following a fatal crash in Williams County, North Dakota.

According to NBC affiliate KFYR, Samuel Hamilton has been charged with criminal vehicular homicide for a crash on April 6th.

KFYR reports the North Dakota State Patrol says Hamilton failed to stop at an intersection and his vehicle collided with a Jeep.

The crash killed 16-year-old Lexi Meduna of Williston. A 16-year-old boy was also injured in the crash.

In North Dakota, the charge of criminal vehicular homicide is a Class A felony.
