BILLINGS- A woman is facing three felony charges for an accident that sent a pedestrian to the hospital Tuesday night in downtown Billings.

It’s at least the fifth DUI that 49-year-old Laurencita C. Shotgun has been charged with, according to court records.

Police say Shotgun was behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer Sport Track that struck a woman on North 27th Street and Second Avenue North.

A blood sample taken after the accident showed Shotgun with a blood alcohol content of .308— nearly four times the legal level, according to charging documents.

According to court documents, Shotgun stated to officers on the scene that if she hadn’t been drinking, she would not likely have hit the pedestrian. There’s no word on the pedestrian’s condition.

Shotgun is facing more than 10 years in prison if convicted of the felony charges.
