The two candidates in the 2020 race for Montana's lone U.S. House seat—Republican Matt Rosendale and Democrat Kathleen Williams—met for a debate hosted by MTN News on Saturday.
Rosendale, Montana's Republican state auditor, is making his second bid to become a member of Montana's congressional delegation. Rosendale came close in his 2018 bid to unseat Sen. Jon Tester.
Williams, a Democrat from Bozeman, is making her second bid to represent Montana in the U.S. House. The former three-term state legislator came up short in her bid to upset Congressman Greg Gianforte in 2018.
The debate was moderated by a panel featuring MTN Chief Political Reporter Mike Dennison, Jay Kohn (KTVQ Billings Anchor Emeritus), and Jill Valley (KPAX Missoula/Kalispell Anchor and Reporter).
