BOZEMAN, Mont. – Firefighters from multiple departments were responding to a residential fire in the Mountain Meadow Estates subdivision early Saturday afternoon.

Thick smoke and flames were visible coming from the trailer home as firefighters from Hyalite, Bozeman, Gallatin Gateway, Central Valley, Fort Ellis, Bridger Canyon, and Amsterdam Rural fire departments worked to extinguish the fire.

Hyalite Fire Department posted to its Facebook page just after 4 p.m. that crews had been working the fire since approximately 12:30 p.m. The department said the fire appears to be accidental and there is “extensive fire damage to the residence.”
