Yellowstone National Park has increased its fire danger level to high .
That goes along with a new lightning caused fire located about one mile west of Dunraven Pass. So far it's only a tenth of an acre in size and is smoldering in an area that burned in the 1988 fires.
Park visitors may see some smoke from that fire as they drive the road to Dunraven Pass, but rest assured that crews are monitoring the blaze in case it starts to grow.
There is no campsite or trail closures due to the fire, and there are no fire restrictions in the park.
But campfires are only allowed in established fire rings in campgrounds and some backcountry sites.
And the park reminds users that all fires must be out and cold to the touch before you leave a site behind.
