Crews battling a wildfire between Perma and Hot Springs are continuing to make progress in containing the blaze.

The Clear Creek Fire -- which is burning north of Perma Bridge along Highway 382 -- is holding at 345 acres and containment has grown to 80%.

The cause of the fire remains investigation, but it's believed to have been started by rock quarry equipment.

There are no evacuations and there are no structures threatened, according to C.T. Camel with the CSKT Division of Fire.

Clear Creek Road off of Highway 382 remains closed to traffic.

Fire managers report that minimal fire behavior was observed Wednesday on the interior of the fire and a helicopter dropped water on the flames.

People are being asked to stay out of the area and adhere to all closures.
