The three fires that broke out along Highway 200 east of Paradise Tuesday afternoon are contained.

It was reported earlier that there were just two incidents, but updated information from Sanders County Wildland Fire's Facebook page confirmed a third fire, the 86 Mile fire, which was located between the 88 and 89 fires.

The fires were reportedly caused by a trailer's flat tire, which dragged along Highway 200.

Currently, the Mile 86 fire is at 5 acres, Mile 88 is 2.45 acres, and Mile 89 is .5 acres.

All three fires are contained and crews plan to continue to mop up Tuesday evening.

In attempts to control the initial attack, the crews separated the incidents based on size. This resulted in three separate fires, which were attacked simultaneously when they first broke out.

Sanders County Wildland Fire's Facebook page thanked engines from the U.S. Forest Service, the Montana DNRC, the CSKT Division of Fire, as well as local rural fire departments and dispatch offices for responding.
