THREE FORKS, Mont. – On Saturday, the group Friends of Firefighters is hosting a Finding Bigfoot Fundraiser at the Headwaters Ranch in Three Forks.
The group is hosting this fundraiser to raise money to buy new radios for the firefighters because their current ones are out of date.
The silent auction and other activities will start at 6 p.m., with the kids bigfoot hunt happening at 8:30 p.m. and the adult bigfoot hunt happening closer to 9 p.m.
“The fire that we had last week was even more of a reason why we need to get them better equipment,” said Friends of Firefighters member Launi Stocks. “When they have better equipment, they respond back to stuff, they can work more efficiently and you know, the better your equipment is, the better trained you are, the better you can respond to things. So helping them initially helps the entire community out here.”
