BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Montana State University Police are asking for community volunteers to help staff their front desk. Volunteers will answer phone calls about parking, sell parking permits, help with office duties and take non-emergency calls.

In a press statement Chief Frank Parrish said, “The MSU Police Department is committed to providing the highest level of law enforcement and public safety services to our campus. The volunteers in Police Service Program will let us enhance those services and importantly, involve the community in more policing efforts.”

Background checks will be conducted on applicants. Volunteers will receive a department polo t-shirt, name badge, and ID card. For more information, contact MSU Police Department Business Operations Manager Kristine Mashaw at 406-994-5428.
