BOZEMAN, Mont. – The City of Bozeman launched its first-ever podcast on Wednesday.
The podcast, called “micromegas”, will have monthly episodes that feature a different local business each time.
“We at the city hope this podcast creates a platform for storytelling, and our goal is to allow our local businesses and service providers to tell the stories of their successes over the last several years and those to come,” said Brit Fontenot, economic development director for the City of Bozeman.
Americorps Vista Eli Bowe added, “Everyone is always talking about ‘there’s this new business in town, they’re doing this cool new thing’ but every business has people behind it. And we’re all people too, just like them, and it helps us to realize, ‘Hey, I can go out I can make my own business, I can do something great, just like this person has’ and gain inspiration from those other peoples’ stories.”
