Residential sale prices spike in Bozeman over past year

BOZEMAN, Mont. – A new report from the Gallatin Association of REALTORS (GAR) shows residential sales prices in Gallatin County have increased by as much as 20 percent in the last year.

The GAR report compared median sale prices from October 2017 through October 2018 for single-family homes and the condo/townhouse market.

The median price jumped from $372,361 to $450,000 for single-family homes, an increase of 20.9 percent.

Condo/Townhouse sale prices increased by 20.2 percent, from $248,700 to $299,000 over the course of the past year.
