BOZEMAN, Mont.- The Children’s Museum is considering moving out of its current building and out of downtown altogether.

In the last year, the museum has seen close to 21,000 visitors walk through the door, an 18 percent increase from 2017.

“As the museum grows, our programs grow and our space fills up,” said Abby Turner. “So as we look toward the future,  moving into a space that better fits our needs in terms of capacity is always on the forefront.”

Turner said the museum is considering its options and is always on the lookout for a space that will meet the growing programs needs. That means if the right location at the right presents itself the museum could be moving out of the soul of the city downtown.

The museum said it will continue to look for places but has not found a place or chosen a specific date to be located in a different location.
