BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Bozeman Public Library was recently given a $250,000 donation for its teen program.

The donation was given by Marcia Anderson who has been a long-time patron of the Bozeman Public Library. She has moved out of Bozeman but continues to support the library and other organizations in the community.

Library Director Susan Gregory said this is a tremendous addition to their teen program, as the teenage years are usually when individuals become disengaged in libraries.

“Really, really fortunate that we live in a very generous community and they support this library so well. We’re absolutely very fortunate in the number of donors we have and the way they continue to support our programs,” Gregory said.

This donation will begin an endowment that will give the library a stable amount of money each year to do more teen programs and purchase more resources.
