BOZEMAN, Mont. – A new brewery topped with sixteen apartments could be coming to midtown Bozeman.
The proposed three-story building would be located on the corner of Durston Road and 7th Avenue where an old Subaru repair shop used to be.
Developer Colin Ruh-Kirk said originally the building was supposed to be located on the west side of town but later moved to the current location because of its proximity to downtown.
“We wanted to bring life back in the center of Bozeman,” said Ruh-Kirk. “So by building those apartments, it allows people to be able to walk down five blocks to Main, and it allows people to easily get around and we hope other landowners in the area will follow suit.”
The brewery will be called the Best Last Place Brewery and Ruh-Kirk said as long as the building permits are approved, the groundbreaking will happen late spring or early summer.
