BOZEMAN, Mont. – Leon Costello, MSU Athletic Director, joins Chet to discuss this weekends event to enshrine six former athletes as part of the 2018 Hall of Fame Class on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019.
The event will take place in Inspiration Hall of the Norm Asbjornson Engineering Building.
The induction group includes Jennifer Allen (women’s track & field), Rebecca Alvidrez (women’s basketball), Harry Clark (men’s track and field), Nate Holmstadt (men’s basketball), Jon Montoya (football) and the late Tony Welzenbach (football).
The Bobcat Hall of Fame Class banquet is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. with a VIP and inductee cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30 in Inspiration Hall.
The inductees will also be recognized during the MSU women’s and men’s basketball Cat-Griz games on Saturday, Feb. 2. The women’s game starts at 2 p.m. and is followed by the men’s Brawl of the Wild matchup at 7 p.m.
The Bobcats are encouraging fans to wear white for the Cat-Griz Whiteout.
