BOZEMAN, Mont. – The City of Bozeman is changing the garbage and recycling pick up time for residents starting Monday, Feb. 25.

The city is asking residents to have their bins on the curb by 7 a.m. in order to have their waste picked up. Solid Waste Superintendent Kevin Handelin said the changes are to make the routes more efficient to optimize workers’ time.

“If they have that out by 7 a.m.—none of our crews in Residential start before 7 a.m.,—so yeah, thank you, everyone, for your patience. You know it will help us better serve our community in the long run,” Handelin said.

Although the times are being adjusted, pickup days will remain the same.
