According to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, at 1:43 a.m. on Saturday morning, dispatch received a report of a vehicle that went into the Gallatin River at mile marker 70 on Highway 191.
Members from Gallatin Gateway Fire Department, Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue, and Montana Highway Patrol responded and determined that a 27-year-old Bozeman man was the sole occupant.
No information about the man’s condition or extent of injuries has been made available. The incident was turned over to Montana Highway Patrol for further investigation.
