The Compassion Project: Event set for Monday night

The Compassion Project will present: “Finding Your Compassionate Voice,” on April 15 at the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture. Featuring personal stories about compassion, a panel discussion, and musical performances by Permafunk and the Montana Women’s Chorus,  is free and open to the public.

Included on the panel is writer, pastor, activist, and author of Hope and Other Superpowers, John Pavlovitz.

The Emerson Grill will host a cash-bar cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 pm in the Emerson Ballroom. Doors to the Emerson’s Crawford Theatre will open at 6:10 pm and the event will kick off at 6:30 pm. The Compassion Project is a non-partisan, non-religious organization and project currently managed by MSU’s College of Education, Health & Human Development.

The Compassion Project director, Kayte Kaminski joined Missy on Monday morning to discuss how the group just finished installing 6,000 pieces of artwork for the kickoff event tonight.
