BOZEMAN,Mont. – Journey Church will not be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt this year after 13 years of tradition.

Last year, thousands of people gathered at Bobcat Stadium to collect eggs that were covered across the entire field, but that won’t be the case this year.

On Journey Church’s website, it stated that the hunt was first started more than a decade ago to show the community that Journey loves and serves them.

The pastor continued to say that the church had been reflecting and decided not to host the hunt and instead pursue other ways to love and serve the community.

Bozeman’s Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting an egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Lindley Park.
