We’ve reported on it, and if you’ve driven on it, you know it’s a bumpy ride. But good news: the project to upgrade Cottonwood Road is underway in the City of Bozeman.
The nearly $5 million plan will not only repair the potholes that you may have become familiar with — but will expand it entirely, allowing it to handle more traffic.
According to city engineers, the road will be widened, adding another lane to each direction to make it more like it is near Babcock Road near Huffine.
We will keep you updated as the project moves along as to when crews expect to finish it.
