General manager of Green Nissan and Hyundai Audrey Knight told MTN that the dealership receives a couple calls a month with questions concerning their car payments.

She says, now, the dealership is getting ten to fifteen calls a day.

GM of Green Nissan and Hyundai Audrey Knight told MTN that while anxieties are high, we're all in this together.

"Know that you're not alone and that we're all in this together. It has effected everyone and all walks of life," said Knight.

If you're struggling to make car payments, she stresses not to wait for your car lender to contact you with payment plan options.

Be proactive and call them.

"They are working individually on a case by case basis with most people," she said. "So, asking them for late fee waivers and deferments are a lot of things of what banks are doing right now."

She explained to MTN that lots of customers who called with questions are suffering economically from the lack of tourism in the Flathead Valley.

However, Green Nissan and Hyundai specifically, offers a job loss assurance program.

Knight says customers can defer payments for up to ninety days and if they are effected by Coronavirus in the future there will be options to waive or extend payments.

She told MTN that if anyone has questions regardless if they're a Green Nissan or Hyundai customer feel free to call the Green dealership at (406) 755-2277.
