BOZEMAN — With the winter season quickly approaching, Gallatin County just opened new Nordic ski trails at the Gallatin County Regional Park.
Gallatin County opens new Nordic ski trails at regional park
The trails are located on the southwest corner of the park near the intersection of Oak Street and Ferguson Avenue. Street parking is available, but there is a parking lot located on Oak Street.
The track has three different entrances and was designed by Dragan Danevski of Montana Endurance Academy. The Academy will also be in charge of maintaining and grooming the trails.
The county wants to remind pet owners to respect skiers on the trails. Pets are not allowed on the track but are of course more than welcome to use other parts of the park.
