BOZEMAN — Many restaurants and food vendors across the community are looking for ways to show their support for people that are working hard during the coronavirus pandemic.
Granny’s Gourmet Donuts is no different.
Shop owner Robert McWilliams is hoping to spread kindness by sharing his delicious donuts with different workers.
On Friday, McWilliams delivered donuts to nursing homes across Bozeman; Saturday it’s the hospital, and Sunday’s delivery will be for emergency responders.
McWilliams says he plans on continuing his deliveries, and rotating among these essential workers.
“The only way to get through this, I think, is just with a lot of kindness. And I’ve seen a lot of that,” said McWilliams.
“I’ve seen a lot of that from my workers and the restaurants that I visit. And I just think being kind to each other is pretty important.”
Granny’s Donuts has adjusted its hours during the pandemic.
They are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 1pm.
