Hiker rescued near Ousel Falls after becoming ill

BIG SKY — Crews from the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue at Big Sky rescued a 74-year-old woman Tuesday afternoon after she became ill while hiking on Ousel Falls Trail near Big Sky.
At 1:30 pm, rescuers from GCSAR and Big Sky Fire hiked the trail and located her one mile from the trailhead. She was medically checked and transported to an awaiting Big Sky Fire Ambulance, then transported to Big Sky Medical Center for further medical assistance.
