The University of Montana released its 2020 fall plan on Friday afternoon explaining how it plans to reopen for in-person instruction amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The plan is in accordance with the Montana University System's guidelines for returns in the fall. This includes general health and safety guidelines, workplace expectations, personal safety practices and examples of specific workplace scenarios.

Classroom occupancy, workplace traffic flow and course scheduling that minimize health risks with in-person instruction is required. Plans must also be set for a transition to remote work should it come to that.

Student housing, food services, athletics and much more are all laid out in the detailed plan.
