Undersheriff Burt Peigneux responded to the Nichols Coulee area on the CMR Refuge to investigate.

The Phillips County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post on Tuesday afternoon that the male is believed to be Shaun Kim Nelson of Washington who was reported missing from his vehicle on August 31 near Highway 191 and Beaver Creek Road south of Malta.
