HELENA – The City of Helena is reporting a water main break on Twitter at Helena High School.

The tweet states “Water main break at Helena HS. Please stay away from the area until repairs are completed. Thank Public Works.”

Helena High School announced on Facebook classes are canceled today, Tuesday, March 5th.

The Helena Police Department posted a message from Superintendent Tyler Ream on Facebook this morning, stating the broken main water line is located on the west side of the school’s campus and crews are working to assess the situation.

The letter states all other Helena School District campuses are on a normal schedule today, along with bus routes excluding those for Helena High School.

In the letter, Ream asks students to stay away from the HHS campus unless notified by a school official.

We have reached out to to the school district for more information and will update you when we learn more.
