WHITEFISH – Whitefish resident Ruth Neff helped secure more than 30 prom dresses, shoes, and accessories for the Browning High School prom.

After winter weather canceled Browning’s high school prom last year, Neff wanted to make this year’s prom extra special.

Neff partnered with Whitefish High School and local thrift stores to supply prom materials for the girls at Browning High School. A former nurse, Neff tells MTN she felt called to help.

“Everybody feels good when they see they’ve done something positive, you know? It’s good, it works two ways. It makes you feel good and it makes somebody else feel good,” says Neff.

The prom materials will be sent to Browning Friday afternoon. Browning High School’s Prom is Saturday, March 30. The theme this year is “Night of a Thousand Lights.”
