14-year-old Polson girl found safe

Emma Eastman, the 14-year-old girl reported missing Friday afternoon by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, was found safe on Saturday, according to an update from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.


POLSON – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office took to social media Friday afternoon to report a 14-year-old girl missing in Polson.

“Emma Eastman of Polson was reported as a runaway yesterday [Thursday] at around 7 p.m.,” the Lake County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook. “Lake and Flathead County deputies have been trying to locate her to no avail.”

Law enforcement officials in Lake County believe Eastman “may be in danger.”

The notification comes on the heels of another teenage girl from Polson, Whisper Littleowl-Horseman, reported missing Wednesday. There is no indication the two incidents are related.

Officials urge anyone with information regarding Eastman’s whereabouts to call 911.
