3 people taken to Missoula hospital after suspected drug overdose

MISSOULA — Three people were taken to a Missoula hospital after a welfare check was called in on Thursday afternoon.

The Missoula Police Department responded just before 4 p.m. after a person driving by Turner Street noticed a car with three people unresponsive inside.

Officers arrived and requested multiple ambulances. NARCAN was administered, CPR was performed and an AED was used at the scene.

All three people in the car were taken to a local hospital. There is no word on their condition.

MPD spokeswoman Whitney Bennett told MTN an investigation is underway but it's believed the incident is related to illegal drug activity.
