GREAT FALLS — The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 39-year old man from Browning died in the crash, and a 42-year old man from Billings was injured.
According to the MHP, the two men were in a Chevy Malibu and for some reason, the car went off the road into a ditch, resulting in the passenger-side tires catching and "tripping" the vehicle.
The car rolled several times; the driver was thrown from the vehicle by the force of the collision. The passenger was taken to a medical facility for his injuries.
The name of the man who died has not been released.
The MHP says that alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash, and that neither man was wearing a seatbelt.
(1st REPORT) The Montana Highway Patrol reports that at least one person died in a vehicle crash in Glacier County on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The crash happened along US Highway near mile marker 222, about a mile southeast of Browning.
The crash was reported to the MHP at 5:51 a.m.
No other details have been released at this point.
