MADISON COUNTY — Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks announced the FWP Commission will hold a virtual meeting on Friday, June 12.

The topic of discussion will be the Madison River Recreation Management Environmental Assessment.

Commissioners will decide whether or not the Environmental Assessment should be released for public comment.

FWP reports there will be plenty of time for public comment at the meeting, and more details about how to participate on the Zoom conference call will be made available soon.

You can review the draft environmental assessment, which shows a number of different recreation management alternatives on the Madison River from the outlet of Quake Lake downstream to the confluence with the Jefferson River.

We will share more information about the Zoom meeting as it becomes available.
