MT Western students experience classroom work away from the classroom

DILLON — Montana Western’s Experience-1 curriculum program is unlike any other college in the country, and that makes the admissions department very happy.
Western’s Admissions Director Matt Allen talked about Experience 1 on Montana This Morning.
Allen says the program is geared toward getting students hands-on learning and that happens outside the classroom. He says his office regularly answers questions from parents about Experience-1, many saying they wished this had existed when they were in college. Allen says there are many times in the school year where there are more students working off-campus for class than there are students sitting in desks in a classroom. Allen also noted that Montana Western is the most affordable four year university in Montana.
