POLSON – A man who spent over two days in the Mission Valley wilderness was found safe near Arlee on Wednesday.
Lake County Search and Rescue reports that emergency dispatchers were contacted at shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday about a missing person in the Jocko area.
Authorities say that a local resident had gone to cut firewood and had not been seen or heard from since Monday.
The missing person was found at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday by a family member helping with the search, according to Lake County Search and Rescue.
The person, whose vehicle had become stuck in the snow, did not suffer any injuries as a result of the ordeal.
