BOZEMAN — Gallatin County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue (SAR) had a busy Saturday responding to three separate calls, two in the same area.
Details are still limited, but according to SAR, the first call came in around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday — a lost hiker in Bear Canyon near New World Gulch.
Rescuers were able to get to the man, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Then, the second call, this one on a trail in Big Sky.
Rescuers say they were able to find that man too, who also suffered minor injuries.
SAR was involved with a third call Saturday night, back in New World Gulch.
No further information was available about the ongoing rescue Saturday night.
