BUTTE — Smaller classes and cheaper fees - just two of the advantages of attending Highlands College at Montana Tech.
Dr. David Gurchiek is the dean of the college, and he talked about Highlands Live with Montana This Morning’s Chet Layman.
Dr. Gurchiek notes that for some students, large university classrooms are a little scary. He also says Highlands offers two year degrees and specialized certifications in several programs.
Dr. Gurchiek says because of the small class size, and the specialty classes offered, the mix of ages in the classrooms leads to a much better learning experience for the students.
Another attractive feature of Highlands College is its open enrollment, which is attractive to some students who may have had struggles in school prior to admission.
