BOZEMAN — Zach Mackey is currently working a couple different radio broadcasts. He has served as color commentator for Bobcat football during this season and will continue in that role through the play-off run. He also happens to be the “Voice of Bobcat Men’s Basketball” and the season just started.
Mackey talked with Montana This Morning’s Chet Layman live about that challenge, which he says is a good one. Mackey noted getting to know the basketball players while enjoying the football season heading to the playoffs makes the challenge a good problem to have. Mackey just started his first full season behind the mic for basketball and says he’s excited about the Danny Sprinkle coached team. He also says he loves calling games from the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse because of the energy level the home fans bring to the games.
You can catch his next game this Saturday as Green Bay comes to town for a non-conference contest against the Cats. That game tips-off at 6 pm.
